U Rijeci traje cjelodnevni program otvorenja Europske prijestolnice kulture. Uo\u010di sve\u010danosti u HNK, izjave novinarima davali su organizatori i umjetnici.<\/p>\n
Subota, 1. velja\u010de 2020, veliki dan za Rijeku, veselo raspolo\u017eenje na ulicama, rije\u010dka ki\u0161a koja sitno rominja nikome ne smeta. Prije po\u010detka sve\u010danosti u HNK, u Press centar smje\u0161ten na brodu Marina u Rije\u010dkoj luci, stigli su predstavnici Grada Rijeke, Rijeke 2020, umjetnici i redatelji kako bi podijelili s novinarima svoje dojmove i odazvali se brojnim zahtjevima za izjave medijima.<\/p>\n
Veselom raspolo\u017eenju u gradu jutros je svjedo\u010dio i gradona\u010delnik Grada Rijeke, Vojko Obersnel<\/strong> – \u201eJutros sam se dru\u017eio s gra\u0111anima i posjetio ve\u0107inu doga\u0111anja, ve\u0107 sada mo\u017eemo biti jako zadovoljni. Ulice i trgovi su puni Rije\u010dana, ali i gostiju, a vjerujem da \u0107e kulminacija uslijediti ve\u010deras, prilikom izvedbe Opere industriale<\/em>.\u201c<\/p>\n Pro\u010delnik za kulturu Grada Rijeke, Ivan \u0160arar<\/strong>, kazao je da ve\u010deras slavimo ra\u0111anje jednog novog grada jer, kako tvrdi, od danas vi\u0161e ni\u0161ta ne\u0107e mo\u0107i biti isto. Osvrnuo se i na lokaciju, Rije\u010dku luku, odabranu za sredi\u0161nje doga\u0111anje, \u201eOperu industriale\u201c. \u201eTo \u0161to \u0107e se dogoditi u Rije\u010dkoj luci, a nigdje drugdje se i nije moglo dogoditi, me\u0111u svom tom grubo\u0161\u0107u i mehani\u010dkim silama koje su stvarale ovaj grad – jedinstveno je. Presretan sam \u0161to nismo priredili jednu kulturnu i urednu manifestaciju, nego \u0107emo pokazati stvarno ono \u0161to Rijeka jest.\u201c<\/em><\/p>\n Saturday, 1 February 2020, is a great day for Rijeka, and the mood on the streets is joyful despite the drizzling rain. Prior to the beginning of the ceremony at the Croatian National Theatre Ivan pl. Zajc in Rijeka, representatives of the City of Rijeka, Rijeka 2020, artists and directors arrived at the Press Center located on the Marina boat at the Port of Rijeka to share their impressions with journalists and respond to numerous requests for their statements.<\/p>\n The mayor of the City of Rijeka, Vojko Obersnel<\/strong>, also enjoyed the cheerful mood in the city this morning: \u201cThis morning I<\/em> was hanging out<\/em> with citizens<\/em> and attended most of the events. We can already be very satisfied. The streets and squares are full of Rijeka inhabitants but also guests, and I believe that everything will culminate tonight, during the performance of the Opera Industriale.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n Head of the City of Rijeka Culture Department, Ivan \u0160arar<\/strong>, said that tonight we are celebrating a birth of a new city because, as he claims, nothing will be the same as of today. He also referred to the location, the Rijeka Port, chosen for the central event, the “Opera Industriale”. \u201cThat, what is going to take place in the Rijeka Port, which could not take place anywhere else \u2013 among all that roughness and mechanical forces that have created this city – is unique. I am really happy that we did not organize a cultural and orderly event, but instead we will demonstrate the true Rijeka.\u201c<\/em><\/p>\n Director of Rijeka 2020, Emina Vi\u0161ni\u0107<\/strong>, confirmed that it really is so and pointed out that Rijeka is burning and buzzing today. She also reminded everyone that today is only the beginning of a year that will be abundant in numerous culture events.<\/p>\n Irena Kregar \u0160egota<\/strong>, the director of partnership and communication of Rijeka2020, pointed out that uniqueness of\u00a0Rijeka2020 is the cooperation between the citizens, their initiatives and civil organizations which contributed to the entire programme.<\/p>\n \u201cThis programme is the result of the collaboration of over\u00a0120 organizations from 40 countries. We have truly brought the slogan \u201cActive citizens in the active city\u201d to life – the citizens are taking part in the programme throughout the day, and entrepreneurs who support this project have joined as well. We have shown what the word \u2018participation\u2019 means. That is the greatest legacy of this project – the citizens who will continue to create and build this city”.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n The artistic team which created Opera Industriale also shared their impressions. The director, Dalibor Matani\u0107,<\/strong> pointed out: “After the last night’s final rehearsal, I can say that the opening is erasing the limits – the limits between the city and the stage, the musicians and citizens, between the actual event and the TV broadcast. Opera Industriale honours the workers, which is a truly special moment. I would like the rain to fall this evening during the crescendo\u00a0of the Opera – that would be a real opening.”<\/em><\/p>\n
