Besides showcasing their major collections, the museums have prepared special programmes as Night of Museums attracts the larger numbers of museum visitors than any other day\/event throughout the year.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.muzej-rijeka.hr\/en\/about\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>City Museum of Rijeka<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>During Night of Museums, City Museum of Rijeka will organize a visit to the permanent exhibition <em>First in the World \u2013 Rijeka Torpedo<\/em>, located at a railroad warehouse, 4 \u017dabica Square. For this occasion, the exhibition is enriched by some new and restored exhibits. Visitors will have a one-time chance to see the original designs of the torpedo, delivered from Rijeka to Norway in 1875. Guided tours are available at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. Elementary school kids can attend the educational workshop. Visitors will have a chance to buy various museum publications at discount prices and taste <em>Torpedo<\/em> tea, produced by Rijeka-based Samovar Bar.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/place\/Museum+of+the+City+of+Rijeka\/@45.3298781,14.4399133,17z\/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x4764a11ddf84bc29:0xe4e5839eea699103!8m2!3d45.3298781!4d14.442102\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Location<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rijekasport.hr\/en\/astronomical-centre-rijeka\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Rijeka Astronomical Centre<\/a> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Night of Museums in Rijeka Astronomical Centre is dedicated to space anniversaries. The programme, organized by Rijeka Sport,\u00a0 will take place in the digital planetarium from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. and will include various films and shows with educational and entertainment content. The Academic Astronomical Society of Rijeka will organize lectures in Great Hall from 6.30 p.m. to 10.30 p.m. From 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. all the visitors will have a chance to create drawings inspired by space anniversaries (launch pads), observe things under microscope, assemble jigsaw puzzles, see old telescopes and attend the presentation on sky-orientation.\u00a0 Providing good weather conditions, visitors will be able to observe the sky through the telescope at the Centre\u2019s terrace. From midnight to 2 a.m. Centre\u2019s Caf\u00e9 Bar Galileo will host a party with a live gig by Throwback, along with plenty of 70ies, 80ies and 90ies music.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/place\/Astronomski+centar+Rijeka\/@45.3248888,14.4806898,17z\/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x4764a1b5067716ff:0xe1108d7e4f7dc05e!8m2!3d45.3248888!4d14.4828785\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Location<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ppmhp.hr\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Maritime and History Museum of the Croatian Littoral Rijeka<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Maritime and History Museum of the Croatian Littoral, along with the dislocated Museum Collection of Kastav Region and Memorial Centre Lipa Remembers will mark Night of Museum by a rich programme related to a wide spectrum of museum activities. There will be lectures, presentations, children\u2019s workshops, plays, music, film premiers, and guided tours.
