An indispensable part of this year\u2019s Revue will be the\u00a0European Capital of Culture at the Revue<\/strong>\u00a0programme characterised by an explorative and innovative approach to puppetry, intended for children of various ages, who are also the focal point of the\u00a0Children’s House flagship<\/strong>\u00a0with the participation of the Rijeka City Puppet Theatre, as one of the flagship\u2019s most prominent partners.<\/p>\n

Ticket sales and booking at regular prices begin on the 21 October 2019.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s Revue will feature\u00a0puppet shows performed by renowned puppeteers and puppet theatres from Croatia and abroad<\/strong>. We will get to enjoy world-class puppet productions from\u00a06 Croatian theatres<\/strong>, as well as those coming from\u00a0Slovenia, Finland, Germany, Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina<\/strong>\u00a0some of which form\u00a0a part of the ECoC programme at the Revue.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The following exhibitions will also be held as an accompanying\u00a0part of the programme:\u00a0\u201c90 years of UNIMA\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0by Livija Kroflin and Ivan \u0160poljarec and\u00a0\u201cPuppets take over Croatia in 1920.\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0by Antonija Bogner \u0160aban. The event will also feature puppetry workshops and playrooms for children, as well as the emerging play\u00a0\u201cEmperor\u2019s New Clothes\u201d<\/strong>, a co-production of the Rijeka City Puppet Theatre and the Maribor Puppet Theatre.<\/p>\n

The programme of the Revue will take place at the\u00a0Rijeka City Puppet Theatre and the Croatian House of Culture in Su\u0161ak<\/strong>; while all the information on the programme of the Revue and the plays it will feature can be obtained at\u00a0www.gkl-rijeka.hr<\/a>.<\/p>\n
