{"id":32009,"date":"2019-09-19T12:37:10","date_gmt":"2019-09-19T10:37:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rijeka2020.eu\/?p=32009"},"modified":"2020-02-20T12:19:17","modified_gmt":"2020-02-20T11:19:17","slug":"performance-studies-international-psi-26-will-be-held-in-rijeka","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ri2020.eu\/en\/performance-studies-international-psi-26-will-be-held-in-rijeka\/","title":{"rendered":"Performance Studies international, PSi# 26 will be held in Rijeka"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Crises of Care <\/strong>will take the form of six interweaving streams of research (sort of conferences-within-conference) and responses to contemporary issues.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Listening<\/li>\n<li>Ends<\/li>\n<li>Materiality and Corporeality<\/li>\n<li>Neighborhoods<\/li>\n<li>Editing, Curating, Publishing<\/li>\n<li>Times of Power, Historical Paradigms<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>These will be curated by teams and feature presentations, break-out sessions, performances, discussions and other activities as organized by the curators of each stream.<\/p>\n<p>Each day will feature the work of two streams along with sessions that bring the whole conference together.\u00a0 Morning sessions will take place on the campus of the University of Rijeka and afternoon and evening sessions will take place downtown in theatre spaces, galleries and outdoor.\u00a0 A focus in distributed knowledge and collective sharing of our work in and between streams will be a feature of the gathering.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PSi# 26: Crisis of Care <\/strong>Conference Committee members: Eyl\u00fcl Fidan Akinci, Sebastian Calder\u00f3n Bent\u00edn, Marin Bla\u017eevi\u0107, Felipe Cervera, Lada \u010cale Feldman, Tracy Davis, Peter Eckersal, Richard Gough, Helena Grehan, Eero Laine, Jazmin Llana, Sean Metzger, Heike Roms, Kristof van Baarle, and The Future Advisory Board.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MORE INFORMATION INCLUDING CALLS FOR PARTICIPATION WILL BE AVAILABLE IN OCTOBER 15 VIA THE PSi WEBSITE.<\/strong>\u00a0 A PSi# 26 website is also in development.
