Apart from the very south of the island of Krk, the floral \u201cmrgari\u201d can only be found in two more places in the world: Wales and Iceland.<br \/>\nAccording to the most recent census of 2011, the municipality of Ba\u0161ka is inhabited by almost 1,700 people, 1,000 of those residing in Ba\u0161ka itself.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h1>Edo Popovi\u0107<\/h1>\n<p>Edo Popovi\u0107 is a Croatian author born in Livno in 1957. He studied Comparative Literature and South Slavic Languages at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of Zagreb.<br \/>\nSo far, he has published the following novels: \u201cMjese\u010dev meridijan\u201d (\u201cThe Moon Meridian\u201d) in 2015, \u201cLomljenje vjetra\u201d (\u201cThe Breaking of the Wind\u201d) in 2011, \u201cO\u010di\u201d (\u201cEyes\u201d) in 2007, \u201cIgra\u010di\u201d (\u201cThe Players\u201d) in 2006, \u201cIzlaz Zagreb jug\u201d (\u201cExit Zagreb-South\u201d) in 2003, non-ficion \u201cU Velebitu\u201d (\u201cInside Velebit\u201d) in 2013, \u201cPriru\u010dnik za hoda\u010de\u201d (\u201cThe Walkers\u2019 Handbook\u201d) in 2009, \u201cKameni pas\u201d (\u201cThe Stone dog\u201d) in 2001, as well as the following short story collections: \u201cTetovirane pri\u010de\u201d (\u201cTattooed Stories\u201d) in 2006, in collaboration with Igor Hofbauer, \u201cSan \u017eutih zmija\u201d (\u201cThe Dream of the Yellow Snakes\u201d) in 2000, and \u201cPono\u0107ni boogie\u201d (\u201cMidnight Boogie\u201d) in 1987.
