{"id":35924,"date":"2019-11-08T16:41:05","date_gmt":"2019-11-08T15:41:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/staging.rijeka2020.eu\/o-epk-projektu\/program\/"},"modified":"2020-07-16T13:40:36","modified_gmt":"2020-07-16T11:40:36","slug":"cultural-programme","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/ri2020.eu\/en\/about-the-project\/cultural-programme\/","title":{"rendered":"Cultural programme"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The cultural programme in 2020 introduces Rijeka and its distinctive features to Europe, while at the same time placing current European cultural and social issues at the forefront.\u00a0The three main programme themes were chosen as symbols of the intertwining identities of Rijeka and contemporary Europe: water, work and migration.\u00a0These themes appear in the programme in a variety of ways &#8211; exhibits, shows, operas, conferences, concerts, festivals, visits by international and Croatian artists, projects undertaken by local associations, the renovation of spaces and the installation of sculptures, book promotions and meet-and-greets with the citizens of Rijeka, the region, Croatia and Europe.<\/p>\n<p>More than 250 programmes featuring over 600 individual events will take place in 2020.
